2005 – 04/2010: Provincial Delegation of Eastern Mines Bertoua, Cameroon – HEAD OF PROVINCIAL DEPARTMENT OF EASTERN MINES AND GEOLOGY.
In this capacity, Mr. ESSOMBA was in charge of the following tasks:
- Monitoring and control of mining activities
- Completion of the mining inventory.

In this capacity and within the framework of his responsibilities, Mr. ESSOMBA carried out the following tasks:
Participation in the negotiations of conventions relating to the mining sector, in particular those of C and K MINING INC and CAMIRON
Preparation of acts relating to the mining sector, in particular Law No. 2016/017 of December 14, 2016 relating to the mining code
Participation in negotiations for Cameroon's accession to I'lTlE
Administrative monitoring and technical control of the activities of mining companies, particularly in the context of compliance with the provisions of the Mining Regulations in terms of CSR
